Building upon all these resources, TEREX Roadbuilding LA brings to the market the most complete and modern line of cold Mixing Plants. TEREX's Soil or RCC (Rolled Compact Concrete) Plants can be stationary or completely portable and have a production capacity that ranges from 150 t/h to 600 t/h. They are indicated for the construction jobs that demand either the initial building of the base or restoring the old base, and they can merge various components for a suitable elaboration of the recipe.

Extremely robust, these machines were designed to work with many types of materials such as cold pre-mixture, soil-gravel, soil-lime, rolled compacted concrete, gravel, or gravel with cement, and are capable of reaching perfect homogeneity in the mixture because of the efficient Pug Mill mixer, which is where the water, additives, and emulsion is added. The system of inclined V-belts ensures high productivity without wasting material. All this power and high production capacity contrast with assembly ease and operational simplicity.

Components

  • Feed Bins

    • Configuration:The triple or quadruple feed bins, with an individual capacity of up to 6 m3 (211,8 cu.ft.), are completely designed to support the strains during the unloading of materials. Optional: extensions to increase the individual capacity of the bins to up to 15 m3 (529,72 cu.ft.).
    • The walls are steeply inclined and have a top opening of 3,100 mm (10'2'), which ensures great ease when filling the bins and the flow of aggregates and consequently a better performance with materials of higher humidity content.
    • • Dosing System uses a flow-adjusting floodgate with a drag belt on bin 1 and electromechanical vibrating chutes for bins 2 and 3. Optional: replace the vibrating chute for a drag belt in all the bins.
    • Option for the dosing system controlled individually via PLC by means of dosing belts with load cells for the dynamic weighing process supported on 4.1/2' permanently lubricated rollers. They are driven by a gear motor controlled by a frequency inverter that makes it possible to control the speed and meter the aggregates, ensuring greater exactness and precision of the petroleum components of the mixture.
    • • Optional: high-performance automatic vibrators for the bins - have the purpose of facilitating the flowing of the fine aggregates with high humidity.
    • • Accuracy in dosage - individually controlled system via Programmable Logic Controller - CLP (optional), through dosadoras belts with load cells, ensures greater accuracy and precision of the components of the mixture pétreos. The trigger occurs through motor controlled by reducing the frequency inverter that enable the change of speed and strength of households.
    • • Facility flow - vibrators automatic high performance for the silos (optional) facilitate the flow of households fine with high moisture content.
  • Conveyor and Extrator Belts

    • • These belts are highly resistant and have been developed to make it possible to transport various types of aterials. They are made with Vtype inclination angles, which keep any aggregates from being wasted.
    • • Completely supported by permanently-lubricated shielded rollers that provide great durability and require minimum maintenance. The drums are adjusted with oscillating and shielded sleeve bearings.
    • • Driven by gear motors directly mounted on the traction drum axle.
    • • Optional: steel protective covering for the conveyor belt.
  • Mixer

    • Twin-shaft pug-mill type mixer, mounted with a special steel anti-wear box and its frame is reinforced to be able to withstand the various types of aggregate mixtures.
    • • Axles actuated by wet screw conveyors supported on roller bearings with forced lubrication, heavy-duty sleeves.
    • Interchangeable arms made of cast steel bolted to the shaft.
    • Vanes made of anti-wear steel and are highly resistant to abrasion. These tools are bolted, reversible, and their height can be adjusted in relation to the arm, ensuring durability and efficiency to the unit.
    • Motorization with transmission by independent V-belts for each axle, actuated by two electric motors.
    • • Comes with a lower hatch in order to facilitate cleaning and maintenance.
    • Safety switch for keeping the mixer from turning on when under maintenance.
    • The water centrifugal pump powered by an electric motor and with a spray bar and control valves standard for Soil Plants.
    • • The automated RCC Plants have a water metering system as a standard item (designed with positive output and variable speed gear pump).
  • Unloading Silo

    • The unloading silo is mounted on the mixer and makes truck loading easy and fast. Ensures the efficiency of the distribution of the production specified.
    • • Floodgate hydraulically opened and closed from the cabin or control station.
    • • Option to use the fixed hopper with a storage capacity of 3 m3 (105,94 cu.ft.), positioned right underneath the mixer's unloading silo. It is designed with a floodgate that opens hydraulically and perpendicularly in relation to the standard silo floodgate, which keeps the mixture material from segregating.
  • Control Cabin (optional)

    • This metal air-conditioned cabin that is part of the chassis, with a complete control and automation panel, provides greater comfort to the operator during long working hours.
    • • Electric switches are placed so as to facilitate the production process while still completely controlling the equipment's operation.
    • • The control panel is completely connected to the plant's motors by means of electric cables, which needs to simply be powered with the local network to begin production.
  • Automated Control System (optional)

    • • The computer control system makes it possible to supervise and control the metering based on processing of load cell readings and control of inverters through Programmable Logic Controllers PLC. Weighbridges located on the dosing belts of each bin carry out the individual weighing of the aggregates.
    • • All the projects of concrete recipe to be executed are registered and stored in the computer and can be used and changed during production.
    • • The processing of the weighing signal is informed by the computer in t/h or l/min, as well as the speed of the belts in m/min.
    • • Storage of data on total production, per truck, and individual by means of reports in real time on the computer screen. These can be printed or saved on spreadsheets and transferred to external storage devices (e.g. pen drive).
    • • Prepares production reports by specific or general date.
    • • Simplified production control environment, indicating the status of the motors that are on.
    • Single production control: each material varies its metering automatically, beginning with a flow Setpoint informed by the operator.
    • • Information of alarms related to motor circuit breakers tripping and lack of material during production.
    • • Generation of alarm report.
    • IMPORTANT: For systems using PLC and computers, the installation of these components in the cabin or air-conditioned room is indispensable.
